Encompass and Cummings tour major citiesMortgagePress.comEncompass Mortgage Automation System Author and mortgage industry guru Chip Cummings, CMC has begun to bring his acclaimed training seminar for mortgage professionals, "Discovering the Power of Encompass," to 16 cities nationwide. This powerful training seminar is designed for mortgage brokers, loan officers, processors and technical administrators who use the Encompass Mortgage Automation System, Ellie Mae's loan origination software, which is rapidly becoming the industry standard. Through this seminar, Cummings enables mortgage professionals to better understand the full power of Encompass. Participants will learn basic and in-depth program features. Program highlights include Encompass administration and set-up, electronic pre-qualification and processing, automated personal management, contact management and marketing and real-time business reporting. "As loan volumes start their projected downturn, we want to make sure that mortgage originators using Encompass have as many tools as possible to help them generate and close new loans as quickly and cost-efficiently as possible," stated Jonathan Corr, chief strategic officer for Ellie Mae. "And with the updated 1003 mortgage form [effective since] Jan. 1, this seems like a perfect time to train users on the benefits of the new Encompass 2.8 release." The training seminar's usual fee of $295 per person has been waived, enabling originators to attend free of charge. Lunch is also included. Cummings kicked off his nationwide series of seminars in Miami on Feb. 22 and plans to continue touring through Dec. 5.
