Oct 23, 2009

Credit Plus Inc., a leader in the credit information industry since 1928, announced the promotion of Greg Holmes to national director of sales and marketing. Holmes, formerly the company’s southeast regional sales manager, will oversee national sales and marketing initiatives designed to attract new clients while still maintaining the company’s strong ties to its core markets.   “Greg has demonstrated a strong commitment to customer service by motivating his team to be simply the best when it comes to client acquisition,” said Steve Grant, president of Credit Plus. “We are confident in his sales and marketing abilities and are eager to see how the Credit Plus brand continues to grow under his proven leadership skills.”   Holmes will lead a team of regional sales managers and account executives to drive sales of Credit Plus’ services including credit reports, scoring tools, Tax Return Verifications, flood reports and more. He will also be instrumental in planning and executing Credit Plus’ newest focus on securing community banks as clients, which will help broaden the company’s target market base.   “This is an exciting time to be part of Credit Plus and I am looking forward to overseeing the development of sales and marketing initiatives that not only attract new clients, but also build upon the existing relationships we enjoy with our current clientele,” said Greg Holmes. “I am confident my team will be able to support these strategies and help strengthen the Credit Plus brand as a leader in the credit information services industry.”   Holmes was the vice president of direct sales in the eastern U.S. for LandAmerica prior to joining Credit Plus. Regional sales increased by 61.5 percent in only three years under his leadership. He earned his bachelor’s degree in professional sales and marketing from Kennesaw State University and has more than 15 years of experience in the credit reporting industry. Holmes is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). For more information, visit CreditPlus.com.
