Assurant Names Kevin Raney Managing Director of Valuations and Mortgage Technology

Assurant Inc. has announced the appointment of Marc Hinkle as Managing Director of Assurant Valuations

Assurant has named Kevin Raney managing director of Assurant Valuations and Mortgage Technology, under the company’s Mortgage Solutions Group. Raney has responsibility for operations and strategy for Assurant Valuations and Mortgage Technology, with a specific focus on the origination channel.
 
“Our Valuations and Mortgage Technology offerings are poised for growth, and we are thrilled that Kevin has joined the Assurant team to lead these two product lines with such immense potential,” said Dan Hoppes, senior vice president of the Mortgage Solutions. “With his deep expertise in operational strategy and growth, along with his leadership background in organizational development, Kevin offers a valuable perspective to the Mortgage Solutions team."
 
Raney brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the mortgage valuations sector. Most recently, he led the Valuations Division at Altisource as vice president, where he focused on streamlining operational processes, growing client relationships and developing overall market strategy across the division.
 
Previously, Raney served in a number of leadership roles with organizations, including PHH Corporation, First NLC Financial Services, Aames Home Loans and GMAC Mortgage.
