Mortgagebot LLC is pleased to announce a new preferred referral alliance with Honolulu, Hawaii-based PCLender.com Inc., a provider of loan origination software (LOS) systems
to mortgage lenders nationwide. Under the terms of the agreement, PCLender.com will recommend the integrated, multi-channel Mortgagebot PowerSite point-of-sale (POS) platform to its clients and prospects as a preferred solution. “Mortgage lenders are increasingly turning to advanced POS automation as a means of reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and providing better service,” said Dan Welbaum, chief marketing officer of Mortgagebot. “Our new
alliance with PCLender enables even more banks and credit unions to gain easy access to mortgage POS technology that can make them more competitive—and more profitable.”

“Today’s market needs efficient, affordable mortgage automation,” said Sean Dugan, vice president of sales and marketing at PCLender.com. “The integration of PowerSite with our Web-based LOS platform provides lenders with a robust, highly compliant, and cost-effective solution that can handle every aspect of the mortgage-lending process.”

Like PCLender’s InHouse Mortgage system, Mortgagebot PowerSite is a “hosted,” software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based solution. As such, both Mortgagebot and PCLender.com products can be conveniently and affordably deployed and updated via the Internet; with no PC software for lenders to install or maintain.

When implemented enterprise-wide, PowerSite integrates a lender’s consumer-direct mortgage Web site with every other mortgage point of sale: the branch, the call center, and the lender’s team of professional loan officers.

“We call PowerSite our ‘integrated point-of-sale’ or ‘IPOS’ platform,” said Dan Welbaum, chief marketing officer of Mortgagebot. “A unique benefit of the IPOS approach to mortgage POS automation is that lenders can now give every consumer-facing associate the ability to take complete, error-free applications in just minutes.” Welbaum said that by automating every mortgage POS channel, lenders can serve every borrower in the way that borrowers want to be served: “IPOS technology sets lenders free from the limits of staffing and physical locations—
enabling them to offer a consistent, high-quality, ‘next-generation’ borrower experience in every POS channel.”

According to Welbaum, Mortgagebot’s IPOS platform in fully in sync with the current industry trend toward mortgage POS channel integration. As an example, Welbaum cited Technology Trends in Mortgage Lending—Mortgage Marketing,” a white paper by the global consulting firm Infosys Technologies. The paper states that the “customer’s ability to exercise channel choice” must be a key strategic driver, and urges lenders to “provide a similar and consistent customer experience … irrespective of [the borrower’s] desired channel.”

The new alliance gives PCLender.com clients ready access to mortgage POS tools that can help them to not only serve borrowers better, but also to manage increasing application volume and maintain full regulatory compliance—which are critical business requirements in light of today’s rising mortgage volumes and sweeping regulatory changes.

In addition, PCLender.com clients that license PowerSite have the option to further boost efficiency by implementing automated integration software, which enables PowerSite application to be automatically transferred to the InHouse Mortgage System. The two companies already have several mutual clients that benefit from this linkage.
