Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group Inc., has announced the addition of Jeffrey J. Sommers as senior account manager. In his role, Sommers will be responsible for developing a customer base among credit unions, community banks and mortgage bankers in the Central Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey regions. Specifically, he will focus on developing new business in and around the areas of Allentown, Harrisburg and Scranton, Pa., as well as Camden, Hammonton and Trenton, N.J.

With nearly 30 years of mortgage industry experience, Sommers served most recently as an account executive with another leading mortgage insurance company. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a member of the Pennsylvania Mortgage Bankers Association.
