J.I. Kislak Mortgage LLC (Kislak Mortgage) has announced the expansion of its presence in the state of Florida with the opening of its newest consumer mortgage origination loan office in Jacksonville, Fla. Kislak Mortgage expects to originate approximately $8 million in loans from this location each month.

Jacksonville is an important market for us as we continue to provide Floridians with top-notch service to enable them secure loans in a timely, efficient manner,” said Tom Meyer, chief executive officer of Kislak Mortgage.

To spearhead the efforts of the Jacksonville office, Kislak Mortgage hired John Reagan who has more than 17 years of experience in the mortgage industry.  Reagan previously worked as the senior team leader with Wilson Lending Group, where he managed a team of loan officers and loan processors. Additionally, Reagan is well known in Jacksonville as the host of the radio program “Ole Mortgage Coach” that airs on Friday mornings on Northeast Florida ESPN Radio (1010 AM), where he provides consumers throughout Florida mortgage advice. Reagan is a U.S. Navy veteran and former commanding officer at NAS Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville office expects to hire between eight and 10 mortgage loan consultants within the next six months.
