Maryland UNIX Engineer Convicted of Attempting to Destroy Fannie Mae Data


A federal jury convicted computer programmer Rajendrasinh Babubhai Makwana of Montgomery County, Md. of computer intrusion arising from the transmission of malicious script to Fannie Mae’s computer servers. The verdict was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein and Special Agent in Charge Richard A. McFeely of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Makwana faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.Click to continue
