ASC Has the PowerMortgagePress.comAssociated Software Consultants, PowerLender Associated Software Consultants (ASC) announced the release of PowerLender, its new loan origination and processing system, which enables users to separate business rules from programming. PowerLender users' customizations are not impacted by upgrades from ASC, which allow the company to provide customizable loan origination systems for the cost of a turnkey solution. ASC is currently converting more than 30 customers of PowerLender's predecessor, UNI- FORM, to the new system. Since PowerLender is designed to read and write to UNI-FORM databases, ASC's customers are able to migrate to PowerLender while keeping all of their existing loan data and business rules in place. The system includes several new features, including re-engineered set-up routines, a customizable Graphical User Interface screen-builder and a data subset generator. The program also offers an offline processing mode, which enables remote uploading of loan data with a secure Internet connection.
