Citigroup combines CitiMortgage and CitiFinancial MortgageMortgagePress.comCitiMortgage, CitiFinancial Mortgage, Citigroup Citigroup Inc. has combined its CitiMortgage Inc. and CitiFinancial Mortgage Inc. subsidiaries into a single entity under the CitiMortgage Inc. name. The newly combined company will now sell both prime and non-prime residential mortgages, whereas before the merge, CitiMortgage Inc. specialized in only prime residential mortgages, while CitiFinancial Mortgage Inc. specialized in non-prime residential mortgages. "This customer-focused initiative provides consumers, brokers and correspondents with a broader range of products across a wider credit spectrum," said Carl Levinson, president and CEO of Citigroup Inc.'s Consumer Lending Group, of which CitiMortgage Inc. is a part.
