Appraisal.com now supports commercial mortgagesMortgagePress.comAppraisal.com, web-based appraisals, commercial real estate Appraisal.com has added support for commercial real estate appraisals to the Appraisal.com Nationwide Appraisal Network. In the past, the network only served residential properties. Users of the Web-based tool can define commercial real estate appraisal jobs and send them out to bid by multiple appraisers. Users can choose to send the bids out to commercial appraisers they already know, or they can use Appraisal.com's VendorRanker Technology to choose from commercial real estate appraisers on the Appraisal.com Nationwide Appraisal Network. Appraisers who wish to bid on the project provide cost estimates, turn-time projections, and license, capability and insurance information to the lenders during the bidding process, which includes a user-selectable, five- or seven-day feedback period. After receiving back bids from appraisers, the lender may choose an appraiser. Based in Buffalo, N.Y., Appraisal.com provides software and technology to the real estate appraisal industry. For more information, call (800) 204-3319 or visit www.appraisal.com.
