Retaining customers through quality referrals to non-traditional lenders
A message from NAMB Convention Committee Chair George Hanzimanolis, CRMS: NAMB Soars 2006 in Philadelphia--A trip for the entire family!George HanzimanolisNAMB Philadelphia 2006
If you're a loan originator, the National Association of
Mortgage Brokers 2006 Annual Convention and Exposition, "NAMB
Soars," is a must-attend event. Where else will you have the
opportunity to visit with more than 325 exhibitors, participate in
any of the three dozen education courses and breakout sessions,
play golf to support NAMB PAC, network with your peers in world
class venues and dine at some of the best restaurants in the
country? Believe me; the NAMB Soars convention in Philly on
Friday-Monday, June 23-26 will have it all.
First, there's the city itself. Philadelphia is a beautiful city
filled with charm and steeped in American history--a perfect place
to take the entire family. Just a few of the landmarks we're famous
for are the Philadelphia Art Museum, Independence Hall, the
Franklin Institute Rotunda, City Hall and the Liberty Bell. See
where the Declaration of Independence was drafted and signed. If
you've got a car, you can travel a few minutes outside of the city
to visit the Gettysburg Battlefield or, if you're feeling lucky,
why not stop in at the casinos of Atlantic City? They're just over
an hour away. The Pennsylvania Convention Center is conveniently
located in the center of the city and is directly across the street
from most of our convention hotels. There are a number of
professional tours available through the hotels' concierges. You
can feel comfortable knowing that your family can enjoy the sites
as you take advantage of the great networking opportunities that
only an NAMB convention can offer. When you are done, take some
time to experience the Philly cheese steaks, pretzels and
TastyKakes. But it isn't all fun and games--the quality of the
education courses and breakout sessions are top notch. Take
advantage of these valuable sessions and earn continuing education
credits, which can be used to attain or retain your NAMB
certification and possibly help meet your state licensing
requirements.
Considering all of these things, it's easy to see that the NAMB
Soars convention in Philadelphia already promises to be one of the
best conventions that NAMB has ever offered. We anticipate a record
number of exhibitors and attendees. Philadelphia International
Airport receives flights from all over the country and at some of
the cheapest fares you will ever find. With the convention just a
few months away, now is the time to make plans to attend. Details
are available on the NAMB Web site, www.namb.org.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all in Philly!
