Risk index sees greater chance of home price declines

MILA sponsors charity golf event, donates $150,000 to children's hospitalMortgagePress.comMILA Inc.,charity MILA Inc., an e-commerce mortgage provider headquartered in Mountlake, Wash., recently sponsored the Warren Moon and Steve Pool Golf Classic and Auction benefiting Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. Layne Sapp, MILA founder and CEO, supported the event with a $50,000 donation from MILA Inc. and a $100,000 donation from CRS, a property management company owned by Sapp. Football star Warren Moon and KOMO 4 TV weatherman Steve Pool teamed up with the goal of raising money for the hospital's uncompensated care, along with the children and families they serve. "Our focus on children's issues made this event a good fit for us and we were proud to sponsor it for the second year in a row," said Sapp. "We're especially pleased to report that the event raised $750,000 for Children's Hospital, a 20 percent increase over last year." Ranked as one of the best children's hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report and Child magazines, Children's Hospital serves as the pediatric referral center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. Children's Hospital delivers superior patient care, advances new discoveries and treatments in pediatric research and serves as the primary pediatric teaching site for the University of Washington's School of Medicine.
