HUD announces higher FHA home loan limits
Fannie Mae changes minimum servicing fee for ARM loansMortgagePress.comMortgage servicing fees
Fannie Mae has reduced the minimum servicing fee for most
single-family, first-lien, conventional adjustable-rate mortgages
to 0.25 percent (25 basis points), with the intent of providing
lenders greater execution flexibility. This change in the minimum
servicing fee will apply to whole loans and pools of
mortgage-backed securities with issue dates of Jan. 1, 2006 or
later. The reduction in the minimum servicing fee to 25 basis
points matches the minimum servicing fee for fixed-rate mortgages
delivered to Fannie Mae.
