American Home Mortgage
Correspondent Lending Division, the Correspondent Lending
Division of American Home Mortgage Investment Corporation, has
announced the hiring of six high-level account executives,
significantly increasing the size of the division.
This experienced team of account executives joined American Home
Mortgage Correspondent Lending Division from Washington Mutual and will be
charged with expanding production volumes and providing
best-in-class customer service in the same regions that they
formerly headed. The new account executives and their respective
regional offices are Steven Campbell, Columbia, S.C.; Molly Gross,
Grosse Pointe, Mich.; Mary Niederhaus, Sacramento, Calif.; Mary
O'Connell, Nashville; Ed Robinson, Philadelphia and J. Gordon
Terry, Jacksonville, Fla.
"We are extremely pleased to have this team of experienced
mortgage professionals become part of the Correspondent Lending
Division," said Rick Pishalski, executive vice president of
American Home Mortgage Correspondent Lending Division. "Our success
in attracting this heavily recruited team was based on our
innovative mortgage products, technology platform and our
underwriting and secondary marketing capabilities. These account
executives are all very talented veterans who bring with them both
an impressive set of skills and a significant base of customers
that they will be able to expand by leveraging our internal
resources. We believe this group of professionals, who have a long
history of working as a team, will have an immediate impact on our
business."
American Home Mortgage Correspondent Lending Division was
launched in July 2005 and reached $1 billion in production volume
after only seven months. With the addition of these account
executives, the division will now have 16 account executives and
two operations centers, serving an expected 900-1,000 customers by
the end of 2006.
"American Home Mortgage's Correspondent [Lending] Division is
aggressively moving to expand this channel with our goal of
becoming a top 10 originator in the correspondent marketplace,"
Pishalski said. "Today, we are focused on building our brand by
offering our lending partners a flexible product portfolio that
will help them meet the needs of existing and potential clients and
tools that generate operational efficiencies throughout the loan
process."
