Hancock Bank offers disaster relief loanMortgagePress.comDisaster relief mortgage loans Hancock Bank has announced the availability of a disaster relief construction loan, to assist Gulf South homeowners in repairing or rebuilding homes in localities declared disaster areas by the federal government after hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Hancock Bank Home Recovery Construction Loan allows a homeowner to borrow up to 103 percent of the appraised value of his home. It requires no down payment and allows for construction periods of up to 187 months, during which borrowers are required to make only interest payments. Hancock Bank is based in Gulfport, Miss.
