(CLS) of Rochester, N.Y. has announced that it has been acquired from Public Abstract Corporation/First American Title Insurance Company of New York by Laura R. Ward and David J. Gutmann. The acquisition took place on July 1, 2008. Both Ward and Gutmann have been with the company from its inception in 2004, serving as vice presidents. In addition, both were with the parent company, Public Abstract Corporation (CLS Division), prior to that time. Ward and Gutmann will serve as co-CEOs. In addition, Ward will serve as the chief operations officer and president, while Gutmann will serve as secretary and general counsel.
