Hyland software develops OnBase Integration for Teres SolutionsMortgagePress.comHyland Software, Onbase integration, Teres Solutions, Sail direct Hyland Software Inc., developer of the OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) software suite, recently announced the OnBase integration for Teres Solutions SAIL loan origination system (LOS). The integration provides credit unions and other lenders a solution to manage the documents generated by consumer lending processes in SAIL and related transactional documents in OnBase. This combination allows SAIL Direct users to access documents stored in OnBase, such as previous loan applications and identification, through the SAIL platform to facilitate decision-making. Archiving the documents collected during the lending process in OnBase allows them to be managed according to corporate policies and correlated to other items in the member's file while eliminating redundant processes such as document scanning and manual indexing. Additional advantages of the SAIL integration with OnBase include the extension of enhanced document security, disaster recovery and records management capabilities. "For lenders to be successful in the current market, they must automate as much of their processes as possible in order to make quality loans while reducing overhead and providing superior customer service," Tim Kelly, CEO for Teres Solutions. "The integration with OnBase creates a lending environment that eliminates the redundancies of paper processes and creates a fully automated loan origination environment using intuitive, Web-based software." Through this integration, lenders will be able to access all documents stored in OnBase through the SAIL Direct system interface, which means users no longer have to switch between applications to obtain required documentation. This feature eliminates time spent searching for information, creating a more streamlined lending process, which improves customer/member service and allows loans to be closed faster. Users can also create an integrated view of the customer/member relationship by including lending documents in a member's OnBase record. "The Teres integration provides a solution to our credit union and lending customers that enables straight through processing of loan data and documents and enhanced member service," said Jason King, director of financial services and insurance for Hyland Software. "Hyland Software has many mutual customers that utilize the Teres SAIL platform. This partnership further demonstrates our core philosophy of delivering solutions that are intuitive to use and drive efficiency for our customers."
