MCS promotes Maxwell to EVP of operations

Dec 01, 2009

Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS), a property preservation and inspection services provider to the mortgage industry, has announced the promotion of John Maxwell to executive vice president of operations. Since initially joining the company in August 2007 as vice president of asset management, Maxwell has overseen Dallas operations for approximately two years. In Maxwell’s new position, he assumes the responsibility for MCS operations in both the Dallas and Tampa offices, including vendor management. Prior to MCS, Maxwell was regional vice president at First American National Default Outsourcing where he managed the client relationships and default operations for top mortgage servicers, administering thousands of foreclosure and bankruptcy cases. He engineered the start-up of six full service bankruptcy and foreclosure operations, participated in new business pursuits and improved client profitability. With more than 30 years in the mortgage industry, his experience has included management roles in loan servicing, servicing acquisitions, default management and more. “During his tenure with MCS, John’s focus on the implementation of consistent controls and measurements, accompanied by support of our staff and management team, has helped significantly elevate company performance to the best in the industry,” Caroline Reaves, CEO of MCS, explained. “The operational efficiencies he has established have had considerable impact on MCS’ growth, and they will continue to contribute to our recognition as leader in service, innovation and expertise.” For more information, visit www.mcs360.com.
