Mortgage Banking Solutions adds Tony Musgrave as senior consultant

Industry veteran F. Anthony “Tony” Musgrave, JD has joined Mortgage Banking Solutions (MBS) as a senior consultant.  Musgrave has served as an executive officer and general Counsel for national mortgage lenders and servicers since 1997 and has a wide range of experience in mortgage origination and servicing. He will have a national practice helping mortgage companies with various challenges including loan repurchase and indemnification claims, and other risk management practices involving administrative and operational matters. “I am very pleased to join MBS," said Musgrave. Trained as a lawyer, Tony worked as a litigator for many years before becoming in-house counsel for a national wholesale home equity lender and servicer in 1997, and from 2001 until February of this year, he served as executive vice president and general counsel for a national retail mortgage company, as well as being an executive officer to related entities including a wholesale mortgage company. Tony has worked with companies operating in 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and holding HUD, VA, USDA, FNMA, and GNMA approvals. He has extensive experience in both federal and state regulatory matters, and acted for the company in a U.S. Department of Labor national investigation and settlement covering 6,000 employees. “We are delighted to have Tony on the team to help in the critical area of loan repurchase,” said Chuck Klein, managing partner with MBS. Tony holds Bachelor of Science in Business and Juris Doctorate degrees, both from Oklahoma City University.
