Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions Chooses GCC Servicing Systems for Credit Union Mortgage Servicing

GCC Servicing Systems, a provider of mortgage servicing technology and solutions, has announced that Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions, a credit union service organization (CUSO), has implemented its G/Teller interface of GCC’s G/SERV loan servicing platform. Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions is a CUSO providing mortgage services to approximately 30 member credit unions. The CUSO decided to implement G/Teller to offer credit unions the option of accepting mortgage payments at the teller window. By enabling members to submit payments in the branch, credit unions increase face time with the member, as well as cross selling opportunities. G/Teller also helps the CUSO combine data from several disparate systems into one location, avoiding the need to build individual interfaces with each credit union’s platform.
“Credit unions thrive on close member relationships, and giving members a reason to visit the branch creates those,” said William Herrick, executive director of Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions. “The CUSO services about 1,000 loans for our credit unions and we receive approximately 25 percent of payments through the branch. The credit unions have expressed great satisfaction with G/Teller and its enhancements to member service. We have benefited from GCC’s exceptional service and technology for many years and G/Teller is one more way for us to better serve our member credit unions.”
In addition to increasing payment options, G/Teller provides tellers with access to specific loan-level data that can be used to answer member questions on topics such as payment history and escrow and tax statuses.
“No matter how many advances are made to online and mobile financial services, there will always be a segment of credit union members that prefer walking into a branch. G/Teller was created to better serve this group by empowering tellers with the data and technology needed to quickly and easily address their mortgage needs in the branch,” said Glenn Liebowitz, president of GCC Servicing Systems.
