May 27, 2014

Churchill Mortgage has announced that more than 100,000 of its free homebuyer reports have been downloaded from its new, mobile-friendly Web site. The reports are designed to help consumers avoid costly mistakes with home purchases, refinances, credit improvement and identity security. According to a recent survey by Chase research, 56 percent of recent homebuyers said that they wished they had more knowledge about the financial aspects of buying a home prior to purchasing, specifically: ►The ins and outs of closing on the house: 22 percent; ►Making the offer and negotiating: 19 percent; and ►Financing a home: 15 percent. “Borrower-centricity has always been a top priority at Churchill Mortgage. The new website provides visitors with an even greater level of access to our educational tools and resources,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “Purchasing a home is the biggest investment a person can make and borrowers should be equipped with the essential knowledge to make the homebuying process enjoyable, not burdensome.” Churchill Mortgage’s new site also features a Home Loan Analyzer, allowing borrowers with current mortgages to compare rates and identify cost-savings opportunities. In addition, more than one million consumers have used its free mortgage calculator, which allows users to determine home affordability, monthly payment totals, interest and fees, early pay off dates and more.
