GSF Mortgage has added Dr. Raymond Larson as branch manager in the firm's Round Rock, Texas branch. Dr. Larson brings more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience to GSF. He received his bachelor’s degree in business, history and theology from Vanguard University of Southern California. He went on to receive his Master’s degree in Marketplace Ministry from Phoenix University of Theology. He became Dr. Larson after receiving his doctorate in Marketplace Ministry.
While working on his master’s degree, Dr. Larson developed a mortgage office, which helped to fund the ministry. While obtaining his doctorate, he went on to develop a financial relief business to help families during the mortgage and financial crisis, where he provided counseling and financial help for those in foreclosure and loss of employment. Dr. Larson worked closely with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and various banking agencies to successfully launch this business. He was able to raise $10 million per year to help families in need.
