Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc. announced the recent hiring of Michael Thomas, Hesperia, CA retail branch manager. Thomas comes to PRMG from a long-standing, successful career with Wells Fargo as a top producer and area manager overseeing multiple branches.
Thomas was formally with Wells Fargo for the past 23 years with a combined 31 years in the Mortgage Industry. Michael was responsible for overseeing four different branches for Wells Fargo - located in Redlands, Victorville, Lancaster, and Big Bear Lake, CA. Thomas began his established career as a mortgage loan originator in 1983, in which he was eventually promoted to the role of Branch Manager.
Some of Michael’s noteworthy accomplishments include being recognized by the Leader’s Club for Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo has 1,000 branches nationwide; one of Thomas’ branches was recognized as being ranked number 24 amongst the branches across the country. Thomas specializes in FHA and VA programs within the Inland Empire.
In his new position as branch manager, Michael will be responsible for overseeing all production for the branch and help develop new business opportunities. Thomas will report directly to Yong Choi, retail regional manager, PRMG. Michael will be recruiting and reaching out directly to the realtor community to help build and establish a strong presence throughout the entire High Desert and Antelope Valley regions with production estimates topping $120 Million annually.
