GSF Honored By Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a Top Workplace

Jun 11, 2014

GSF Mortgage has been recognized with three awards at the 2014 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplace breakfast. Out of the 75 companies in the Small Company Category (140 or fewer employees), GSF Mortgage brought home the “Best in Class” award and ranked number one in the Top Workplaces in southeastern Wisconsin. GSF Mortgage was among 12 other mortgage companies and banks that won Top Workplace awards. A special leadership award was given to GSF Mortgage President Chad Jampedro based on standout scores on specific survey statements. Jampedro has been president since January 2013 and has played a significant role in enhancing the company’s efficiency and structure. “It is difficult to describe a more gratifying experience than being recognized by your employees as a great workplace,” says Jampedro. “For many of us, we spend the greater part of our lives working and the idea that it is not only what you do but how you do it matters a great deal. It has been my sincere pleasure to be associated with such a wonderful group. Rated as “Best in Class” is an accurate description of this team. I am blessed to share in the success of “Team GO”.” The Milwaukee Journal partnered with Workplace Dynamics and surveyed more than 58,000 employees in 235 companies based on: managers, direction, execution, conditions, pay and benefits, and career. Employers are then ranked in three categories: large, midsize and small. “Being part of GSF Mortgage is like being part of a family. I’ve worked here during the ups and downs of the mortgage industry and worked in many different facets of the company. I’ve learned so much and have grown up within the company. The support you feel within GSF is unmatched to any company I’ve ever worked for. I feel confident coming to work every day knowing I work for an honest and sincere company. I plan on working my entire mortgage career at GSF Mortgage,” says Jennifer Geiger, mortgage loan originator.
