GSF Mortgage Opens Second Branch in Pittsburgh

Jun 23, 2014

GSF Mortgage has announced it has opened a second branch in Pittsburgh, Penn. Overseeing this addition is Benjamin Bogats, branch manager, and Jason Horr, mortgage loan originator, will be joining him. This is GSF Mortgage’s fifth branch in the state. Bogats is a graduate from Waynesburg University with a degree in business management and leadership. In 1999, Bogats entered the mortgage industry. He spent five years as a mortgage broker before he transitioned to the lender side where he focused on wholesale lending. With the addition of a second child, Bogats realized he needed a more consistent income. He began selling property and casualty insurance and still did independent closings. Horr is a graduate from West Liberty University. He is a self-employed business owner; he owned and operated his own title company for seven years. Due to the direct alignment of Bogats and Horr’s backgrounds, they decided to open their own mortgage company - a one-stop shop for their customer’s mortgage needs. Bogats and Horr pride themselves on being accessible to their customers. They communicate with their customers no matter if it is after hours or on weekends. They always acknowledge their customers and never want them to feel like just a number. “Under promise and over perform is a crucial way to separate yourself in order to provide value,” says Bogats. Bogats and Horr maintain a strong real estate relationship with their local Keller Williams Realty. “Ben and Jason are a true asset to the GSF family. Their extensive expertise in the mortgage industry not only makes them a valuable asset in any market but an ideal model-match with GSF Mortgage,” says National Sales Director Mike Maida.
