Lenders Compliance Group Inc. (LCG) has announced that Matt Strahl has joined the firm as director of compliance solutions to offer a complete range of mortgage-related compliant solutions and consultative guidance to the mortgage industry at large. Strahl will directly support the firm’s clients, while also investigating a variety of potential regulatory compliance needs across a firm’s enterprise. With an extensive experience in mortgage banking, Strahl will join the firm’s subject matter experts in providing residential mortgage risk management.

“Matt is a uniquely experienced mortgage professional, having distinguished himself as capable of working in most areas of residential mortgage banking from loan originations to mortgage servicing, mortgage analytics, collateral appraisal and valuation, and title insurance while managing these relationships on a regional and national basis for companies like CoreLogic, Land America Title and FNIS (aka Black Knight)," said Jonathan Foxx, president and managing director of LCG. "His career of involvement in nearly all aspects of the mortgage banking has given him an exceptional perspective on how to establish and deliver the most effective compliance solutions, regardless of a firm’s business model.”

Strahl has 25 years of lending industry experience representing both clients and vendors in the mortgage finance, lending, insurance, and servicing industries as a VP or national director of solutions. His ability to help clients maneuver expertly through critical phases of growth and stabilization across the lending landscape is one of his core strengths. Strahl has worked on large and small scale projects with a wide range of lenders nationally and has assisted clients in audits and/or investigations by FDIC, OTS, Federal Reserve, and FBI.

"I am pleased to join LCG. As the mortgage industry continues to evolve and compliance is at the forefront, there has never been a better time to join the industry leading Lenders Compliance Group," said Strahl. "I’ve personally known Jonathan Foxx for many years and I firmly believe that he is a visionary who truly understands the important of providing immediate access to experienced professionals by offering expert guidance to residential mortgage lenders, originators, and servicers. Importantly, LCG offers hands-on compliance solutions for those who seek valuable compliance guidance, and want only the highest quality risk management of the compliance programs.”
