In response to continued growth, Churchill Mortgage has announced that Doug Walker has been promoted to vice president of national sales support and business development. With 18 years of industry expertise, Walker will oversee Churchill’s sales support division and work closely with each branch to maximize opportunities and production goals within individual markets. In addition, he will leverage Churchill’s training tools to ensure that its home loan specialists are prepared to satisfy local communities’ increasing demand for mortgages, while providing borrowers across the country with an enjoyable home buying experience.
He also aims to strengthen relationships between Churchill’s Realtor partners and loan officers by maximizing tools that help accelerate the home buying process for consumers. Walker previously served at Churchill as vice president of sales and marketing.
“We are adjusting to an industry that is seeing improvement,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “Doug’s leadership and history of success are matched only by his extensive knowledge of our business. Focusing his talents to develop Churchill’s teams across the country ensures that we effectively meet borrowers’ needs while positioning ourselves for continued expansion.”
“Engaging and communicating with prospective borrowers is paramount to successful growth,” said Walker. “Churchill understands this and provides each branch with the tools necessary to grow its business and provide exceptional service to our customers and business partners. As I take on greater responsibility, I look forward to being a part of Churchill’s continued success.”
