VRM University (VRMU) has announced the launch of the VRMU Academy, a new training program that offers courses targeted toward small businesses in the mortgage and real estate industries. The new courses include personnel and human resources compliance training, leadership and professional development and operational best practices to advance small and mid-tier organizations.
Since 2009, VRMU has trained over 10,000 industry professionals that have completed more than 20,000 courses. VRMU uses instructors that are prominent, experienced, practicing professionals to bring a high level of quality and expertise to every course. With this latest addition to their programs, VRMU is expanding its offerings to include the new small-business focused courses in addition to its industry-recognized continuing educational courses and customizable client-specific training.
The three areas of focus now include:
►Academy Training: Instructional content includes compliance, customer service, human resources, technical training and can be conducted at VRMU’s corporate office, online, or at your site.
►Industry Training: Specializes in online and instructor-led, industry-specific courses for Real Estate continuing education. The courses are currently approved for continuing education (CE) credits in Texas and California with additional, nationwide CE certifications available in mid-2014.
►Custom Training: Provides custom and highly customizable curriculums designed to help ensure that an organization’s vendors and employees are trained and certified in their specific policies and procedures. VRMU can modify existing courses or build new training platforms for any client to help ensure continuity of service and compliance and provides online tracking of completion and certification dates.
“We’re extremely pleased to launch the VRMU Academy and make it available to all industry professionals,” said Effie Dennison, senior vice president of business development for VRMU. “This has become an increasingly dynamic industry and companies at all levels are looking to ensure seamless continuity of operations. Small business owners know the devil is in the details, and this new program will help ensure they know those details and more.”
