Platinum Data Solutions and SharperLending Integrate Systems

Sep 11, 2014

Mortgage technology provider SharperLending and Platinum Data Solutions have expanded the integration between Appraisal Firewall, SharperLending’s appraisal management platform, and Platinum Data’s RealView appraisal quality software. This integration has been expanded to SharperLending’s newest release of Appraisal Firewall: the Enterprise Edition. Appraisal Firewall is a secure, web-based residential and commercial appraisal ordering solution that enables lenders to manage their own appraisal process. RealView is the only technology that uses business intelligence to analyze appraisal quality and compliance. SharperLending and Platinum Data integrated the two technologies in late 2014 to provide Appraisal Firewall Enterprise Edition users direct and seamless access to RealView. The integration has been released into the new Appraisal Firewall Enterprise Edition, which offers lenders and appraisers access to the complete Appraisal Firewall system from any mobile device, including tablets and smart phones. The new Enterprise Edition also includes many years of user interface research and evaluation, which bring a cleaner, easier-to-use system to lenders and appraisers, plus increased appraisal compliance features and better data protection. The enhanced integration also enables Appraisal Firewall’s users to automate the ordering and processing of RealView reports, and to access more of RealView’s features, such as its feedback loop, which automatically generates and sends an email that relays issues that must be addressed, to the appraiser. "SharperLending and Platinum Data have a keen focus on the real estate appraisal industry, and we have both identified how lenders and appraisers can successfully leverage appraisal technology to maximize efficiency and compliance," says Dave Black, president and CEO of SharperLending LLC.  "With the new Enterprise Edition, our user base can take advantage of the simpler user interface to setup and access the RealView collateral valuation and risk assessment product, allowing users an easier path to appraisal quality control." “In today’s market, lenders and AMCs are very concerned about protecting their margins,” said Phil Huff, CEO of Platinum Data. “SharperLending is helping these companies by not only offering access to RealView, which prevents buybacks and cuts appraisal underwriting times in half, but also enhancing the Appraisal Firewall/RealView integration, which increases efficiency, compliance and security. We’re pleased to be partnering with them and to be part of lenders’ successful loss prevention programs.”
