GSF Welcomes Stephen Trye as New Branch Manager in Towson

Sep 08, 2014

GSF Mortgage has addded Stephen Trye as branch manager in the company's Towson, Md. location. He comes to GSF with nine years of industry experience. Trye is a graduate from the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore and University of Baltimore where he majored in business administration and marketing. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Trye held the position as the assistant director of the youth center. After the center lost funding, he met a mortgage broker through a friend. He realized he could apply his human resource and customer service knowledge to the mortgage industry in order to better educate his customers. He started as a loan officer and ended as a sales manager of a corporate division where he oversaw 45 mortgage consultants. When it comes to taking care of his customers, Trye has a hands on approach. He is always looking to further educate his customers and empower them through financial freedom. He wants his customers to be able to call him for any financial advice: insurance, savings, retirement, etc. He has a very holistic point of view and wants his customers to see the entire picture instead of just what’s right in front of them. Trye feels this is what builds value in his service. Trye plans to expand his business by building community relations. He plans to speak at schools and churches to take a more graduate approach to educate the people surrounding him. Trye serves as the membership chair of Black Professional Men. “I am pleased to welcome Stephen to our family. His commitment to community development and robust relationships are the cornerstone to any good branch manager,” says National Sales Director Mike Maida.
