Generation Mortgage Company has reorganized its sales department leadership with the promotions of Matthew Gregory to vice president of retail sales and Steve Resch to vice president of wholesale. Gregory will be responsible for managing the company’s retail sales activities, including those of its area managers, local loan officers and national call center team, while Resch will oversee Generation’s wholesale partner network. In accordance with Resch’s new role, Peter Sciandra has joined Generation’s wholesale team in the position of Account Executive.
“Generation’s retail sales team and wholesale partner network have experienced considerable growth opportunities since the launch of our nu62 software last year, and consequently, we felt our company needed to have a dedicated leader on each side of our sales organization, ” said Generation President and CEO Colin Cushman. “Both Steve and Matthew understand our executive team’s vision for Generation’s future, and they have demonstrated the industry knowledge and innovative thinking that we desire in our department leaders. Their new roles, along with the addition of Peter Sciandra to our wholesale division, only serve to strengthen our sales team moving forward.”
Gregory joined Generation in 2010 as a reverse mortgage consultant and achieved the title of director of retail sales in April 2011. Previously, he worked as a finance & accounting recruiter with The Intersect Group and garnered significant mortgage industry experience while holding a variety of sales positions with Nationwide Mortgage Services, The Lending Center and Ameriquest Mortgage Company.
For the past three years, Resch served as an account executive within the company’s wholesale team, and prior to joining Generation, he served as east coast relationship manager for Financial Freedom Senior Funding Corporation, where he was responsible for developing the company's highest-volume production channel. His 35 years of experience also include time as general manager of a real estate syndication, as a fixed-income analyst for a Wall Street investment bank, and as managing partner for an investment advisory firm.
Before joining Generation’s wholesale division, Sciandra most recently worked with Reverse Mortgage Solutions/Security One Lending, where he was the senior vice president of wholesale and correspondent lending. His extensive career includes director and vice president positions with MetLife Home Loans, First Horizon Home Loans, GE Mortgage Insurance and Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company.
