GSF Mortgage Adds Dorothy Spitaleri as an LO to Florida Branch

GSF Mortgage has announced the addition of Dorothy “Dottie” Spitaleri as a mortgage loan originator to the firm's team in Sarasota, Fla. She will work under Ruth Watkins, branch manager. Upon graduation from high school, Spitaleri worked at a bank in Florida as a teller and in customer service. She later transitioned to the behind the scenes mortgage operations where she became a mortgage loan originator. Spontaneously, she answered an ad from Watkins, where she would end up working for the next 24 years as a processor and underwriter. After Watkins made the transition to GSF Mortgage, Spitaleri decided to follow.

Spitaleri has been a mortgage loan originator for 11 years. Customer service and communication are her priorities. She always contacts her customers to keep them informed and does her research to find the best solutions for them.

“I have known Dottie Spitaleri for 20 years and we have worked together for many of them," said Watkins, GSF branch manager. "I am proud to have participated in her growth and amazed at the talents she displays as a professional loan officer. I whole heartedly welcome her to our branch and so happy for this opportunity to be together again!”

Spitaleri grew up in the area and has a high level of community involvement through business groups, after hour events and the Board of Realtors.
