James Owen Joins Caliber as VP, Divisional Builder Manager of the National Builder Division

Caliber Home Loans Inc. has announced that James Owen has joined the company as vice president, divisional builder manager of Caliber's National Builder Division for the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast Divisions.

"Adding the right leadership to support our sales force and help grow our purchase volume growth is an important initiative in our effort to establish a successful builder platform," said Michael Brown, SVP of Caliber's National Builder Division. "With more than 20 years of experience and a strong reputation in the mortgage industry, Jim will play an important role in business development, talent recruitment, training and education, and developing products for key builder initiatives."

Prior to joining Caliber, Owen served as vice president, divisional builder manager for Bank of America. In this role, he was responsible for developing home builder relationships throughout the Eastern United States. Owen has also been a leader in new construction volume, new accounts, and has spearheaded key product development initiatives. He also spent several years working for a large public mortgage company where he managed nearly $3 billion dollars in annual volume across 18 states.
