Feb 25, 2015

American Pacific Mortgage (APM) has announced the hiring of Jason Bannister as director of capital markets, specialty products, where he will be responsible for developing new specialty products, educating loan officers on specialty products available to them, and further expanding APM’s leadership within the industry. With this hire, APM has taken a proactive approach to being an industry leader, as APM professionals are foreseeing the specialty products market to be an area of vast growth in the coming years. Most recently, Bannister helped develop APM’s “Advantage Program” and the company’s “Back in the Game” program.

Before joining APM in August 2014, Bannister worked to start a successful new mortgage bank, which eventually became part of APM. Bannister also worked as vice president of sales for Residential Mortgage Capital, where he was responsible for wholesale lending in California and managed an inside sales team of 20.
