Andy Stewart Named Southwest Regional Manager for Guild Mortgage

Mar 09, 2015

Guild Mortgage Company has promoted Andy Stewart to regional manager of its Southwest region. Prior to his promotion, Stewart was Nevada district manager for Guild and based out of Reno. As Southwest regional manager, Stewart will be responsible for the management and oversight of Guild's retail mortgage production activities in Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Stewart has more than 25 years of diverse experience in the mortgage banking and real estate development industries, serving as loan officer, district manager, regional manager and project manager. Prior to joining Guild, Stewart was a senior vice president and regional sales executive with Bank of America.

Building upon Guild's successful business in Nevada, Stewart plans to solidify and expand Guild's presence throughout the region's other states.

"Given the affordable housing, work environment and pro-business climate, the Southwest is a very attractive place for companies to expand or start up, which is positive for many areas of the regional economy,” said Stewart. “Guild has a wide array of products and services and a culture of customer service that will propel our continued growth in the region, particularly in helping first-time homebuyers achieve their dream of homeownership.”
