Fay Servicing has announced the addition of Wanda Montgomery as the firm’s new senior vice president of foreclosure operations. In her new role, Montgomery will be based out of Fay Servicing’s Carrollton, Texas office and she will lead the foreclosure department across multiple locations while reporting directly to Andy Laing, chief operating officer of Fay Servicing. Montgomery’s more than 21 years of experience in default servicing will be a major asset for Fay Servicing as it continues to grow its platform beyond whole loans and into agency and HUD loans.

Most recently, Montgomerey led a team of foreclosure consultants at Fannie Mae that traveled to servicers with underperforming foreclosure groups to assess the operations, provide support, help them utilize available technologies and implement industry best practices and process efficiencies. Prior to that role, Montgomery led First American’s Default Outsource Operation that was acquired from Washington Mutual Mortgage where she had worked for over a decade running both foreclosure and bankruptcy departments.

“Wanda brings tremendous default servicing knowledge and valuable management expertise to Fay Servicing  that will be leveraged as we continue to add scale and expand more into agency servicing,” said Laing. “Both bank and investor clients recognize that her vast experience working with and analyzing thousands of servicing organizations will help us continue to optimize efficiencies and maintain compliance within the construct of our highly differentiated servicing approach.”
