LenderLive has announced that Jeffrey Lewis has joined the firm as regional account executive in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania for the company’s Correspondent Lending business line. Lewis will work with current and prospective clients, primarily community banks and credit unions that are participating in or considering the LenderLive correspondent program. He will report directly to Bob Kallio, senior vice president of Correspondent Lending.

LenderLive’s correspondent program is designed to serve the needs of mid-tier and smaller originators that want to protect their customer relationships. The program offers fast turn times, quick client approval, competitive pricing and greater engagement during the sales process to keep clients aware of the status of their loans.

Lewis brings more than 30 years of mortgage industry experience to LenderLive. Most recently, he was president/consultant of Realex Consulting, where he managed the research, development, training, implementation, measurement and monitoring of all company compliance, quality control, underwriting and credit policies and procedures, and the monitoring and reporting of all third-party providers for banking and lender clients. Prior to Realex, Lewis was senior vice president of Gateway Funding DMS, LP, where he formed a third-party provider monitoring system in conjunction with Commergence and an underwriting process to maintain and monitor all individual, company and distribution channel functions. He also held executive positions at Countrywide Home Loans, Credit Suisse First Boston and H&R Block Mortgage Corp. Lewis began his career as a loan production officer at The Bank of NY.

“LenderLive is committed to providing our customers with a superior level of customer service that helps build and support their businesses,” said David Vida, president of LenderLive Mortgage Services. “Jeff’s extensive knowledge in the mortgage industry and his ability to initiate and implement successful business strategies will make him a valuable addition to our team and help us better serve our clients.”
