New American Funding has announced the appointment of Misty Lapham as vice president, regional manager, and she will oversee the Orange County, Calif. area

New American Funding has announced the appointment of Misty Lapham as vice president, regional manager, and she will oversee the Orange County, Calif. area. In this position, Lapham will oversee sales and operations for New American Funding’s Orange County branches. In this new position, she hopes to grow New American Funding’s presence in the Orange County, Calif. area.

“I’m thoroughly excited about how well-positioned New American Funding is within the mortgage sector looking ahead. Being a product leader, being on the forefront of technology to master recent TRID changes,  producing top notch marketing for our loan officers and referral partners—New American Funding is undeniably the best mortgage partner to have,” said Lapham.

Lapham has been in the mortgage industry since 2002 and has received many awards and recognitions in her 13-year long career. She was recognized as a top producer in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 and was awarded the Orange County Association of Realtors Affiliate of the Year in 2012.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of New American Funding leadership. I’m extremely proud of the culture here, being run by a husband and wife team," said Lapham. "It truly feels like family and I look forward to growing our presence in Orange County by empowering our current loan officers while attracting the best of the best loan officers to join our New American Funding family.”

Lapham’s past positions include vice president, branch manager, sales manager and senior loan officer. She has also maintained her sales team, Misty Lapham Group, that has funded more than $500,000,000 in all types of loans.
