HomeBridge Financial Opens New Michigan Branch in East Lansing

Jan 15, 2016

HomeBridge Financial Services Inc. continues to focus on growth throughout the Midwest with the opening of a new office in East Lansing, Mich. In addition to the new location, HomeBridge has hired two Michigan mortgage industry veterans, David Nichols and Kannon Kares, to oversee the office’s operation and work directly with Lansing-area homebuyers and real estate professionals. HomeBridge, which is licensed in 49 states, in addition to Washington, D.C., funded nearly $9 billion in 2015 alone and is one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the country.

Both Nichols and Kares, who join HomeBridge in the roles of area manager and sales manager, respectively, share very strong career synergies with HomeBridge’s approach to the mortgage industry. While Nichols and Kares have each worked with some of the most well known national mortgage lenders in the country, they have also spent significant time working at regional financial institutions deeply rooted in the Lansing community.

“HomeBridge is an ideal mortgage partner for home buyers, real estate agents and builders in the Lansing area. From helping first time buyers with their condo needs to more intricate purchases, including off-campus housing for college students and renovation mortgages, HomeBridge has the best local team and resources in place to make the process as easy and painless as possible for everyone involved,” said Douglas Rotella, executive vice president at HomeBridge.
