Stewart Lender Services Names Kirk Bockoven SVP of Loan Quality

Stewart Lender Services has announced that Kirk Bockoven has been appointed senior vice president of loan quality

Stewart Lender Services has announced that Kirk Bockoven has been appointed senior vice president of loan quality. His extensive expertise will be leveraged to provide feedback to Stewart’s customers related to guidelines, industry trends, repurchase issues, risk management oversight, best practices and fraud prevention techniques.

Bockoven joins Stewart with more than 30 years experience serving in loan quality positions, including 20 years working with lenders in loan quality and operations, as well as most recently, 10 years at Fannie Mae directing fraud and loan quality control oversight. Bockoven will report to Scott Gillen, executive vice president, originations and servicing executive, Stewart Lender Services.

“Kirk’s proven experience managing loan quality is a tremendous asset to Stewart Lender Services,” said Gillen. “We are thrilled to add Kirk to Stewart team, and look forward to introducing him to our customers.”

Bockoven will provide support and guidance to our clientele around conformity with GSE, FHA, VA and USDA underwriting and quality control requirements. In addition, he will utilize his recent GSE experience to ensure Stewart’s loan quality control offerings are current and effective for the constantly changing regulatory environment.
