Carrington Mortgage Services has announced it will be presented as a sponsor on the hit TV show Designing Spaces Military Makeover airing on Lifetime in February and March. The show honors the family of Purple Heart recipient, Technical Sgt. Kevin Parke, of Crestview, Fla., who was selected for a Military Makeover after a thorough nationwide search.

With a family of four boys, one girl and a baby on the way, the Parke family had outgrown their home in Crestview. Sgt. Parke is the true definition of an American hero. After entering the Air Force in 2003, he served two deployments in Afghanistan, where he survived three separate IED detonations—and yet, despite suffering injuries, he never abandoned his team. With the support of Carrington Mortgage Services, the Parke family moves into an amazing and newly renovated dream home worthy of the dedication and tenacity Sgt. Parke has demonstrated over the life of his distinguished military career. The grand unveiling of the newly remodeled home, featuring the Parkes, along with several other notable representatives and volunteers, including Carrington Executive Vice President Ray Brousseau, will air as a three-part series on Lifetime starting in February 2016.

Designing Spaces engaged Carrington to serve as a sponsor, along with local business vendors including decorators, landscapers and other home renovation experts, as well as local volunteers, in creating a home that would honor the service Parke gave to our country.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Parke family to their new home. As staunch supporters of the Veteran community through our company’s Carrington Charitable Foundation, we embrace any opportunity to help our heroes and the mission to make their lives better,” said Brousseau. “Whether by exceling in offering home loan programs for Veterans, or participating in segments like Military Makeover, our company is dedicated to giving our troops and their families a home they deserve.”

From the producers of the award-winning home decorating and remodeling show, Designing Spaces, Military Makeover is a mini-series dedicated to giving back to members of our military and their loved ones. Enlisting the help of decorators, designers, landscapers and other home renovation experts, the host, retired U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. R. Lee Ermey “The Gunny," helps transform the homes—and the lives—of military families across the country. Whether it’s a veteran and their loved ones, a wounded warrior or a newly relocated military family, this mini-series salutes those that have risked the ultimate sacrifice, offering hope and a helping hand right here on the home front.

The Designing Spaces Military Makeover series featuring the Parke family will air on Lifetime Network at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT on the following dates:

►Show one - Feb 25th (originally aired Feb 18th)
Show two - March 3rd (re-air March 10th)
Show three - March 17th (re-air March 24th)
