MBA Adds Lionel Lynch as VP of Strategic Member Relations

David H. Stevens, CMB, president and chief executive officer of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), has announced the appointment of Lionel Lynch as vice president of Strategic Member Relations. Reporting directly to Stevens, Lynch is responsible for strengthening and managing relationships with senior executives of MBA member companies in order to maximize the value of their MBA membership and engagement. He ensures that the MBA maintains a deep understanding of member companies’ business models, organizational structures, legislative and regulatory priorities and operational challenges.

“As a membership-driven organization, MBA is constantly looking for ways to enhance member engagement and provide best-in-class service to the wide range of MBA member firms,” said Stevens. “Lionel brings a wealth of experience in real estate finance, housing policy, capital markets, and public-private development. A skill set that will help MBA become even better at engaging our members to ensure we are serving their needs and exceeding their expectations.”

Prior to joining MBA, Lynch was director of new development and strategic planning at Roadside Development. Previously, Lynch served as a principal in the Washington, D.C. office of HR&A Advisors, a real estate and economic development consulting firm. He also held a position with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
