Mortgage Network Adds Alexander Brockway to Its Sales Team

Apr 26, 2016
Joseph A. Iacovino Jr. has joined Mortgage Network Inc. as a loan officer in the company’s Conshohocken, Penn. branch office

Alexander Brockway has joined the sales team of the Portland, Maine branch office of Mortgage Network Inc., where he will be responsible for serving buyers and homeowners throughout the Kennebunk and Kennebunkport areas of Maine. Brockway joined Mortgage Network in 2012 and spent more than three years as a loan processor before enrolling and graduating from the company’s Mortgage Banker in Training (MBIT) program. The MBIT program allows highly motivated loan officer candidates to learn all aspects of the mortgage business by exposing them to every job position at the company and having them master each step of the loan process, in addition to completing online coursework and preparing for their licensing examination.

“As an MBIT graduate, Alex knows every part of the loan process from origination to closing, which will help him provide borrowers with an exceptional customer experience,” Mortgage Network Portland Branch Manager Jeff Rae said. “Having lived his entire life in the area, Alex is also well-equipped to help local clients identify and reach their home financing objectives. We’re delighted that Alex has joined our sales team and we think he has a bright future ahead.”

“After getting several years of valuable behind-the-scenes experience, I can really appreciate what it takes to get a mortgage approved, and I can use that knowledge to help my customers,” Brockway said. “I’m really looking forward to this next step in my career. Kennebunk and Portland are two of the most beautiful areas of Maine’s southern seacoast, and we’ve had several years of strong year-over-year sales growth. There are plenty of homes available in all price ranges, from starter homes to multimillion dollar residences to everything in between, all located within a short distance of each other. With mortgage interest rates still very low, I can’t think of a better time or place to buy a home, whether it’s a primary residence or a vacation property.”
