Churchill Mortgage has named Leticia Mijes as its new Multicultural Market Manager

Churchill Mortgage has named Leticia Mijes as its new Multicultural Market Manager, focusing on better meeting the unique needs of an increasingly diverse homebuyer population in communities across the country.

“I am thrilled to take on this initiative on behalf of Churchill Mortgage,” said Mijes. “It’s an exciting time for both the housing industry and for multicultural groups across the nation. As the industry recovers, the economy strengthens, and more individuals and families find themselves in a position to own their own homes, Churchill is a trusted mortgage partner to support their home financing needs.”

With more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience, Mijes will lead Churchill Mortgage’s national strategy to strengthen communication with multicultural populations, ensuring that the opportunity to realize the American dream of homeownership is equally accessible to prospective borrowers of any group. Leveraging her role as past-president of NAHREP’s Houston chapter, Mijes establishes and maintains relationships with Realtors, referral partners and the local communities, while also supporting the lender’s efforts to recruit and train mortgage professionals to better serve a more diverse homebuyer population.

“By recognizing the unique needs of different homebuyer groups, we knew it was crucial for us to recruit a seasoned mortgage expert to support multicultural efforts,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “Leticia’s professional experience, combined with her passion for working with and educating individuals makes her the perfect choice to spearhead our efforts and be a positive influence in communities with rich cultural backgrounds. We are committed to helping individuals achieve debt free homeownership and look forward to her efforts."
