Quicken Loans Helps a Vulcan Family Get a Mortgage

Fans of the “Star Trek” franchise can lovingly recall the numerous adventures faced by the Enterprise’s crew

Fans of the “Star Trek” franchise can lovingly recall the numerous adventures faced by the Enterprise’s crew. But there was one challenge that these intergalactic heroes never faced: Getting a home loan.

Filling this considerable void in the “Star Trek” universe—and just in time, as the film “Star Trek Beyond” opens on July 22—Quicken Loans is bringing its Rocket Mortgage program into the mix, helping a Vulcan family secure a happy domicile on Earth. In a series of new commercials, the young Vulcan couple Sevek and V’Nay and their dog Shanak rely on Rocket Mortgage to help them get a home loan on their new residence—thus enabling them to (what else?) live long and prosper.

As part of a tie-in to the new “Star Trek” film, Quicken Loans is also running the “Rocket Mortgage Live Like a Vulcan Sweepstakes,” which will enable lucky Trekkies to win prizes including a trip for two to attend the world premiere of “Star Trek Beyond” on July 20 in San Diego and a year’s worth of mortgage payments.
