Military Direct Mortgage Launched to Serve Vets and Active-Duty Military

Sep 12, 2016
Military Direct Mortgage has announced the launch of their new “Operation Welcome Home” initiative, aimed at connecting borrowers to VA specialized real estate agents

Military Direct Mortgage, a division of Norwich Commercial Group Inc., has announced its opening as a regional VA mortgage lender. An NMLS-licensed approved VA lender, Military Direct Mortgage offers purchase and refinance options to veterans and active-duty military. Military Direct’s mission is to make veterans aware of their benefits, advise them of the best loan options for their needs, and guide them throughout the entire home loan process.

“Being married to a veteran and never having been offered, or even knowing about this benefit when purchasing our first home was very unsettling to us,” said Patti White, president of Military Direct Mortgage. “After working in the mortgage industry, and having a personal connection to this, I wanted to be a part of something that I am truly passionate about. I wanted to form an organization with individuals that share the same passion in ensuring veterans and active-duty military are able to take advantage of the benefits they earned for their service to our country. It is my mission as president of Military Direct Mortgage to ensure that as many veterans as possible are aware of and can implement the benefits they so rightfully deserve. I am excited to lead my team and take Military Direct Mortgage to the top of this industry as not only leaders in VA mortgage lending, but advocates, supporters and friends of veterans, active-duty military and their families.”
