NTC Launches Innovative Training as a Service Offering

Sep 29, 2016
Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) has launched a new marketing campaign made possible by a recent survey of clients that highlighted NTC's best qualities as a vendor

Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) has announced a new service designed to provide in-depth training on the foundations of residential mortgage finance. After years in development, the new offering provides a best practices based standard training package for lenders, investors and mortgage servicers. The two-day training program can be delivered at the client's location or in the NTC Training Center at company headquarters in Palm Harbor, Fla. or Dallas, Texas.

Dave LaRose is NTC's vice president of technical excellence, an industry veteran with 30 years of experience. Dave is NTC's resident expert on quality and training. He was instrumental in the development of the new offering.

"Our reject rate on documents is well under one percent, which is far better than anyone that I have ever seen, and it's because we expect perfection," LaRose said. "Technical excellence means that we have a standard of actual perfection. This new training offering allows people to understand what they're doing in their function no matter where they are in the lifecycle of the loan. When they understand what everything means, they are less likely to make mistakes."

The training is designed to make the entire ecosystem of the residential mortgage lending industry clear and understandable to the student. Further, the program explains clearly why every process in the industry is critically important to maintaining the integrity of the U.S. land records at the county level. The benefits of NTC's training regimen are clear, given the company's 99.9 percent compliance rate across its entire line of services.

"The key driver to meeting compliance requirements is continual and intensive training," said Shawn Sorensen, NTC's vice president of quality. "We provide that to our own people and now our clients can benefit from that as well."
