LINQ will give correspondents real-time views of conditions and the statue of their purchase reviews.

Plaza Home Mortgage launched its new loan acquisition system LINQ, in hopes to accelerate loan purchases and make it even easier to do business with its correspondent clients.

According to a press release, LINQ will give correspondents real-time views of conditions and the statue of their purchase reviews, giving them the opportunity to easily connect with Plaza. Correspondents will also have the ability to lock and re-lock rates instantly, without emailing Plaza's rate lock desk. The system is also set up for easy uploads of files and data, once deals have closed.

"LINQ is user friendly, fast on document uploads and gets you lock confirmation immediately once the loan is locked in," according to Stacy Barker, operations manager of GHI Mortgage, an early adopter of LINQ.

"While pricing is always a primary driver, speed, efficiency and transparency are rapidly becoming key differentiators in today’s correspondent market," said Salpi Meyer, senior vice president, National Correspondent Sales at Plaza. "Correspondents are looking for lenders that can review, bid and close deals in days, not weeks, and move loans off warehouse lines."
