Matt Orlando Elevated To President Of Informative Research
Matt Orlando is named head of Informative Research, positioning the company to advance data-driven solutions and drive growth across mortgage and real estate services
Stewart Information Services Corporation has named Matt Orlando president of Informative Research (IR), a move that reinforces the company’s commitment to advancing data-driven solutions for the mortgage and real estate industries.
Informative Research, a Stewart subsidiary and provider of credit, consumer, and real estate data and technology services, plays a central role within Stewart’s broader strategy to deliver an integrated, customer-centric real estate services platform. In his new position, Orlando will lead IR’s growth strategy and product development efforts, with an emphasis on innovation that enhances operational efficiency and decision-making for lenders and real estate professionals.
“Matt’s leadership and deep industry expertise will accelerate IR’s ability to deliver innovative solutions that empower lenders and real estate professionals,” said Fred Eppinger, CEO of Stewart. “IR is a critical part of our vision to provide an end-to-end platform that combines data, technology, and services for superior performance and ease of use across the transaction lifecycle.”
Orlando’s appointment also marks a leadership transition at IR, succeeding Sean Buckner, who retired after more than 40 years with the company. Beth Fowler, president of Stewart Lender Services (SLS), highlighted Orlando’s strong client relationships and strategic vision as essential assets for the next chapter of IR’s development.
“Over the past seven-plus years, Matt has been instrumental in building relationships with IR’s customers to truly understand their needs,” said Fowler. “His ability to combine strategic vision with operational excellence will be instrumental as IR continues to innovate and deliver value to our customers. I’d also like to thank Sean Buckner for his more than 40 years of service and leadership with Informative Research and wish him all the best with his retirement.”
Orlando has been with Informative Research since 2019 and previously served as CEO following Stewart’s acquisition of the company in 2021.
“At IR, we believe efficiency and customization of data and analytics are keys to success in lending,” said Orlando. “Our high-touch, high-tech approach and highly configurable platform empower lenders to optimize consumer data strategies, reduce costs, and deliver the ideal borrower experience. I’m excited to lead IR during this pivotal time in our industry, and into the next chapter as we continue to innovate and help our customers succeed.”
