In 2020, New American Funding ranked #7 in Retail Volume, and increased its rank in Overall Volume to #13 compared to #17 a year earlier. The company also finished as #10 in Non-Qualified Mortgage Volume, which applies to those who are self-employed, with non-traditional incomes or no income.

In response to unprecedented housing demand amongst historically-low mortgage rates, the company hired 2,776 new employees and doubled its origination volume from 2019 to $30.5 billion in 2020. In total, more than 104,000 individuals and families bought their home or refinanced their mortgage through New American Funding last year.
